Kathy Lowrey, Interim General Manager

Kathy Lowrey is honored and delighted to have been selected to serve as the Interim General Manager of the Northshore Harbor Center upon Kerry Painter’s departure. She is proud to have been the Sales and Marketing Manager of the Northshore Harbor Center since before the facility opened its doors in May of 2005. Kathy’s proven passion, dedication and support for the mission of the Northshore Harbor Center afford her a distinct advantage over any other candidate that might have been chosen.

Throughout her career, she has provided exemplary leadership performance in start-up as well as turn-around operations. In her current, as well in previous management assignments, she has served as the catalyst for successful business development and overall growth of operations. She has a track record of making decisions that deliver the best results for long term success, while establishing and maintaining lasting customer loyalty. At the Harbor Center, she negotiated significant contracts with the Red Cross, Journey Fellowship and FEMA which allowed the facility to move forward with a steady revenue stream after Hurricane Katrina’s devastation.

Through every step of her career, she has demonstrated a dedication to excellence and an ability to “do whatever it takes” to get the job done. One of her greatest strengths is the ability to cultivate relationships within and outside the organization, recognizing the need for both in order to have a strong and successful business.

Kathy is extremely familiar with the facility and its mission and her qualifications and experience make her uniquely poised to lead the Northshore Harbor Center toward the bright and successful future that it is destined to have.

Ms. Lowrey currently serves on the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board. She is also pleased to be a member of the Slidell Women’s Civic Club and enjoys serving the community through her membership. She also sits on both the Special Events/Programs & Education Committee, as well as the Public Relations Committee for Meeting Professionals International. The extensive sales, marketing and management experience she gained has led her to specialize in the development of new business, which enabled her to attain the positions of Vice-President/Director of Sales for Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Director of Sales for New Orleans Tours, as well as other executive positions throughout her career.

She balances her career and volunteer work by spending time with her husband Bruce and their four children, enjoying such hobbies as cruising Lake Pontchartrain and exploring the natural beauty of our area.

“As a resident of St. Tammany, I understand and have a vested interest in the continuing economic growth of this community and the cultivation of the quality of life of our area. As Interim General Manager I will work to ensure that the Northshore Harbor Center will thrive, grow and continue to serve my children and all of those who will benefit from this amazing facility far into the future.”

Arthur Emile Baudoin, Director of Operations

Arthur Emile Baudoin, a Salmen High School graduate, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility's heating, cooling, plumbing and overall building systems.
Before joining the Northshore Harbor Center team, Baudoin served as the building superintendent/engineering supervisor for the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, a small arena that hosts boxing matches, sports events, concerts, conventions, trade shows and more.

Emily Generes, Office Manager

Emily Generes is the Office Manager of the Northshore Harbor Center. She moved to our area from New York several years ago with her husband, who is a New Orleans native, and was pleased to discover that she had settled into such a warm and welcoming community. Emily has had the honor of working for the Harbor Center since before its opening. She is grateful for the opportunities her position has afforded her, and the chance to serve the facility and its valued clients and guests every day.

Eileen Sementilli, Events Coordinator
Eileen Sementilli is the Events Coordinator for the Northshore Harbor Center. Eileen is a Louisiana Certified Travel Professional and comes to the Harbor Center with seventeen years experience in the hospitality industry. She has worked for an international themed restaurant, a city/plantation/swamp tour company, and a large concept retail store. With each new career opportunity over the years, she became more involved in the event planning aspect of the industry.

At the Harbor Center, her responsibilities include implementing all aspects of events which are booked at our facility. She attends to the individual details of every event and coordinates the ordering of the necessary pieces of the puzzle that form together to create the event. She is a seasoned professional that gives each client an opportunity to have a creative and unique event.

Eileen hopes to contribute to a favorable impression of our facility by acting as a liaison between the client and the facility. In this role, she wears many hats and finds the challenges of each event to be an opportunity to provide each client with a little something extra beyond their expectations. Eileen looks forward to working with the community and has a keen understanding of the benefits both personally and professionally to more community involvement. She brings her hospitality experience and her events planning skills to complete the team at the Northshore Harbor Center.
