In 1954, Oliver and Shirley Patton began a small catering business in the back of their grocery store. Their legacy continues today in the capable hands of their five children – Gail, Pat, Tommy, Timmy and Terry – who have made Patton’s one of the top three independent caterers in the New Orleans area.

Welcome to Pattons Catering at the Northshore Harbor Center, and meet Tim Patton, our food expert. Patton's prides themselves on their ability to create the very best in contemporary catering and they delight in the idea of presenting you with our newest menu selections.

Sure we can offer the standard lunch buffets with a chicken breast and green beans, or a bagel and a cup of coffee, but why would we? Tradition doesn't have to be boring and the unexpected is what you and your guests will remember from their visit to the Harbor Center.

Four Hour Open Bar
Full open bar with the following types of liquor: Bourbon, Scotch, Vodka, Gin, Rum, Amaretto, Beer, Wine and Champagne. All of the popular mixers including Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Bloody Mary, Sweet & Sour, Juices, Soda, Tonic, Etc. Deluxe Assorted Finger Sandwiches
Our fresh assortment of finger sandwiches contains smoked ham, roast beef, turkey, fresh chicken salad, and egg salad. All trays are garnished

Cocktail Muffulatta
Miniature version of the classic New Orleans Sandwich.

Grilled Breast Of Chicken Strips
Fresh Chicken Breasts marinated in our special blended seasonings. The breasts are cut into bite size strips and served with a delicious dipping sauce.

Buffet Station #1
Chicken and Andouille Gumbo
A rich, thick Cajun creation chock full of lean andouille sausage and chicken. This gumbo is served with fluffy white rice.

Buffet Station #2
Shrimp Pasta
A wonderful combination of shrimp along with a blending of secret spices sautéed in a creamy butter sauce and blended with shallots, pasta and heavy cream.

Crawfish Beignets
Cajun spiced crawfish beignets fried to a golden brown and served with a white remoulade sauce. This is one of Patton’s signature dishes

Buffet Station #3
Blackened Pork Loin
Cajun style Pork tenderloin pan seared and slow roasted to a juicy doneness. Carved to order and served with assorted buns and condiments.

Sausage Jambalaya
This mixture of rice, smoked and hot sausage along with plenty of spices makes for a hearty dish that is sure to please.

A grand assortment of pastries including cream puffs, napoleons, éclairs, tarts, etc.

Coffee
The world famous New Orleans style coffee with chicory. We serve both Regular and Decaffeinated with cream, sugar and sweet & low

Center Round of Roast Beef Au Jus
A U.S. Choice Center Round of Beef roasted to perfection. Carved to order and served with an assortment of buns and condiments.

Mashed Potato Bar
Make your own version of stuffed potato. Rich cheddar cheese, sour cream Green Onions, Roasted Garlic, Bacon Bits and other toppings are available for your fluffy mashed potatoes

The Crudités
An artful exhibit of fresh crudités, dips, fruits, and cheeses. This display is full of colors, textures and shapes. Served with a deluxe assortment of crackers

Fresh Tuna Grilled and cut into bite size pieces topped with a fresh fruit salsa.

Shrimp En Brochette
Fresh Shrimp seasoned and wrapped with bacon ad fried to a golden brown.

Stuffed Mushroom Caps
Steamed mushroom caps stuffed with a shrimp and crabmeat stuffing baked to perfection

Andouille Sausage en Croute
Andouille sausage encased in puff pastry and served with a Cajun brown mustard sauce.

White lump crabmeat, fresh corn and an assortment of spice and secrets make this soup a crowd pleaser and is often requested

Grilled Tenderloin
Beef Tenderloin grilled to perfection and carved to order. The tender medallions of beef are served with an assortment of buns, condiments and our marchand div in sauce.

Patton’s House Salad
Spring Mix of Greens with sliced apples, goat cheese, pecans and a wonderful apple smoked bacon vinaigrette.

The Crudités
An artful exhibit of fresh crudités, dips, fruits, and cheeses. This display is full of colors, textures and shapes. Served with a deluxe assortment of crackers
Ice Carving
A grand Centerpiece on this crudité station. We custom create this carving and place it in an ice tray and garnish. When all the food is placed around the base, it is quite impressive

Buffet Station #4
Gulf Shrimp and Bow tie Pasta
Gulf Shrimp sautéed with creole vegetables like eggplant, zucchini and mushrooms. We finish the sauté in absolute pepper vodka. This peppered vodka imparts a spice flair to this delectable dish.

Gulf Crab Cakes with Lemon Butter
An elegant version of an old favorite. Fresh lump crabmeat, patton spices, and french bread crumbs are combined to make our crab cakes. We top them with a lemon buere blanc sauce.

Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee served with French vanilla ice cream.

Glassware, China, Stainless Package
This Package contains glassware for the bar, china plates and silverware for the event you are planning. This package makes sure the extra bussing help is in place to keep the event clean and bussed properly. Linen napkins are an additional charge.
