Welcome to the Northshore Harbor Convention Center |

|
Just half an hour away from the French Quarter, the Northshore is the place to come for added value. It’s convenient: close to two airports and at the crossroads of three interstate highways. It’s functional: access to over 1,400 hotel rooms (over 2,000 in the parish), golf courses, nature preserves, family activities, incredible restaurants, and music festivals. We’re 45 minutes from the Gulf Coast – concerts, shopping, casinos, nightlife…the only difference between New Orleans, Louisiana proper and the Northshore is the zip code.
The Northshore has the true ‘southern hospitality’ feeling people want. Locals greet each other in the streets, take their children to the parks, and gather for community events. There are hundred-year-old cypress trees, Camellia flowers, ironwork balconies heavy with greenery, and the waters of Lake Pontchartrain. The Northshore is a place for families and couples, high tech types and nature lovers.
The Northshore Harbor Center is the smart alternative for conferences, tradeshows, performances, social events and athletic tournaments. The Center can accommodate up to 2,500 people, with meeting rooms or exhibit space. Designed by Blitch Knevel Architects, the 45,000 square foot facility is a conference center for the future. |
